My name is Marta Kotarba. I graduated from the Faculty of Education of the University of Warsaw (Poland). In 2008, I earned a doctor’s degree in humanities at the Educational Research Institute. I also completed postgraduate studies in philosophy and a four-year long course in psychotherapy organised by the Polish Association for Analytical Psychology. At present, I am preparing for certification in the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). I work as an academic teacher, a teacher of philosophy in a primary school and a psychotherapist. What interests me the most in psychotherapy is the role of boundary experience in own development. I deal with early childhood traumas and their impact on adult life and with mental health of the somatic chronically ill. Apart from scientific and educational work, I also help children with cerebral palsy and the elderly under the hospice care.
